The Haarlem College is a school for students with recommendations for HAVO, theoretical VMBO (MAVO), kader VMBO, and basis VMBO. If you are practically inclined as well as theoretically, then MAVO-plus is for you. In addition to the MAVO programme in the upper grades, you will also follow a practical subject. From the first year, we start discovering what you are good at and what you enjoy doing. You determine your own route to your diploma.
New: HAVO at Haarlem College
From next academic year, we will be introducing a HAVO stream at Haarlem College. In addition to theory, we will also be adding a practical component and focusing on future-oriented skills such as self-reliance, teamwork, and effective planning. This will ensure you are even better prepared for your further education.
