Last summer, Haarlem College distributed over 200 summer packages to parents and guardians of its students. The summer packages, consisting of a large shopping bag filled with healthy and long-lasting products, are a collaboration between Haarlem College's Healthy School initiative and the Youth Education Fund.

Receive or donate

Yarah Hollander, coordinator of the healthy school initiative at Haarlem College, explains: ‘Parents and guardians of our students were able to indicate if they were interested in a summer package for themselves, but they could also choose to donate a package to someone in their community who could really use it.’

Healthy School

The initiative was carried out by Gezonde School (Healthy School), which focuses on introducing pupils to healthy food and a healthy lifestyle. Want to know more about Gezonde School? Then take a look at this page.
