On Friday 9 October, Purple Friday will be celebrated at hundreds of schools in the Netherlands. This will also be the case at Haarlem College.
On this day, by wearing purple clothing, we show that we respect and embrace the diversity in gender and sexuality of our pupils. Whether you are transgender, straight, lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual, non-binary or still questioning, everyone should feel at home and safe at Haarlem College.
