Where can you go with your complaint about school?
If you encounter a problem at school, it is important that you are able to discuss it with someone. For example, if you feel you have not been treated fairly. Or if you are unhappy with someone at school, for instance if they have behaved inappropriately.
You'd best discuss your complaint at school.
If you find it difficult to discuss a complaint with the person you believe caused the problem, you can approach your mentor or one of the Haarlem College's trusted advisors. They will guide you in finding a suitable solution. If you cannot resolve the issue together, you can, possibly in consultation with your mentor or trusted advisor, report the complaint to the director of the Haarlem College.
Complaints Coordinator, Dunamare Education Group
If, in your opinion, the problem has not yet been resolved, your parent(s)/carer(s) can lodge a complaint with the Dunamare complaints coordinator together with you. How this works can be read in the Dunamare Complaints Procedure 2022, which can be downloaded below.
