Approach
At Haarlem College, we always address bullying. Unfortunately, no school is entirely free of bullying, but we believe it's important to handle this situation with care and clarity. This means we expect our pupils and parents to discuss bullying with their mentor; the mentor is always the first point of contact for questions or reports concerning bullying.
We also discuss any instances of bullying that we observe at school with pupils and parents. The anti-bullying protocol, which you can find at the bottom of this page, describes how we handle observations and reports. Our safety coordinator, Mr. De Vries, also serves as the anti-bullying coordinator.
